Service Description
We’ll meet amongst the beautiful woodland of Tortworth Arboretum, gathering together in the Round House to settle in, connect and spend time around the fire. As the day unfolds, we’ll share stories and reflections inspired by Samhain — a time of transition, endings, remembrance and turning inward. From the warmth of the fire, we’ll journey into the heat of the sauna for four rounds. Guided by the themes of Samhain, we’ll journey between the outer landscape of the woodland and the landscapes within us, exploring the wisdom, symbolism and invitations that each round brings. Between rounds, we’ll step back into the evening woodland, allowing the cool air to refresh and restore us before returning to the sauna. This is more than a sauna experience. It’s an invitation to slow down, reconnect with nature, honour what is ready to be released, and listen for what is waiting to emerge. Come prepared to sweat, breathe, listen, reflect and be held by the ancient rhythm of fire, forest, heat and coolness. As the darkness gathers around us, we’ll create a slither of space between the old and the new — a place to pause, let go and welcome the turning of the season.
